IIRC, Anders was/is considered a troll in the VB group awhile back.

Though I think his/her response has some troll-like characteristics, the
basic communication(s) are more entertaining than most of those from the
minions in these groups. (for me that is).

Actually as I reread this, it's only MORE entertaining because of it's
novelty. It wouldn't take much to be as boring as the minions in this
group <g>. (for me that is).

But reluctant to have spent this time (It takes me a long time to write a
few words, I wish I had the writing skill of some in this group, even
those I don't agree with). I will try to share why he may not be ALL
troll.

And I am disappointed that the trial version is so simplistic, great 5
years ago. No database, no web, no Kylics, no nothing current or
attractive to a newbie.

Well, my personal take is that is more than enough for a product that is
supposed to be used to learn and is free.
It's like you said too small but it's role is not to make a business. It's
for learning porpouses.
Otherwise there are the other demo versions.

I assume you mean the Personal version(s), because the *trial* versions are
full Enterprise versions (time limited).

The personal edition is not the trial edition. The trial edition is the
Enterprise full edition (minus a few of the secondary things like the Database
Explorer). You are confusing two totally different SKU items.

Next time you might try checking out the feature matrix on the Website
before getting upset over spending time downloading it, you might come
across as slightly better informed.

Other options might hold that you go back and check out how much you paid
for what you just downloaded.
